Dear Parents and Caregivers,

You are the most important educator and role model your children will have during their lives. Your children need your help to make healthy, mature decisions about high-risk behaviors such as early sexual involvement, use of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs. These topics are often difficult for parents to discuss with their children. To assist you, the Macomb County Abstinence Partnership has developed this Web site to help deal with issues that our teens are facing. Knowing that children mature at different rates we are including a wide range of materials. You decide what information you need to discuss with your child.

Please take some time to peruse the rest of this site. If you are interested in having our abstinence program presented free of charge at your child’s school, or other youth organization please contact us! The curriculum used by the Macomb County Abstinence Partnership, “Aspire” by Scott Phelps, is available for parental or guardian review.
